Terms of Service
Last updated 2 September 2026
The agreement
These terms govern your use of ThoughtPost AI, operated as Spore AI(“we”, “us”). By creating a workspace or signing in, you accept them. If you are accepting on behalf of a company, you confirm you are able to bind it.
What the service does
ThoughtPost AI drafts, schedules and publishes content to social networks you connect, and reports how that content performed. Drafts are produced by large language models from the material you provide.
Workspaces, roles and who can do what
Your account belongs to a workspace. Administrators can change brand settings, connect accounts on the workspace’s behalf, and invite or remove members. An Analytics connection made by an administrator is readable by every member of that workspace.
You are responsible for who you invite, and for keeping your sign-in credentials to yourself.
You are responsible for what gets published
This is the term that matters most, so it is not buried. Posts are published under your name or your Company Page’s name, and you are accountable for them — whether you wrote them, edited a draft, or approved one.
Language models make things up. They invent statistics, attribute quotes that were never said, and state confident falsehoods. This product takes real care to reduce that, and it does not eliminate it. Read a draft before it goes out, and check any specific claim, figure or name in it. We are not liable for the consequences of content you publish.
If you enable automatic publishing without review, that is your decision and the same responsibility applies.
Your content stays yours
You keep ownership of the material you put in and the content produced from it. You grant us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your content, send it to a model provider to generate a draft, and publish it to the accounts you connected, at the times you scheduled.
We do not use your content to train models, and we do not publish it anywhere you have not asked us to.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use ThoughtPost AI to:
- publish content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or that infringes someone else’s rights;
- impersonate a person or an organisation, or post as a Company Page you are not genuinely authorised to represent;
- send unsolicited bulk messages, or otherwise breach the terms of a connected platform;
- attempt to circumvent usage limits, or interfere with the service or other workspaces.
Connected platforms have their own rules
LinkedIn, Google and any other network you connect each impose their own terms, rate limits and content policies. Using this product does not exempt you from them, and we cannot restore access a platform takes away. A platform may also change or withdraw an API, which can remove a feature here through no fault of either of us.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed through Polar. Fees are charged in advance for the period you choose and are not refundable except where the law requires it. Plans carry usage limits; exceeding one may pause publishing until the next period or until you change plan. You can cancel at any time, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for.
Availability, and what we do not promise
We aim to keep the service running and to publish scheduled posts on time, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Scheduled publishing depends on third-party APIs we do not control, and a post can fail for reasons outside our reach — an expired connection, a revoked Page role, a platform outage. When a post fails, we record why and show it to you rather than silently dropping it.
The service is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we exclude implied warranties, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months before it arose. We are not liable for lost profits, lost opportunities, or reputational harm.
Ending it
You may stop using the service and delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms, or where we are required to by law — and except in urgent cases we will tell you why first.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change materially reduces your rights we will tell you in the app before it takes effect, and continuing to use the service afterwards means you accept it.
